You probably noticed that the order page of our website mentioned that it would take up to eight weeks to receive your order in order to give the cardholder at least two bank statements to contest any charges not authorized.
You can eliminate the delay by allowing us to verify your account with you. There has been quite a bit of fraud this past year, and Cardservice International can only verify card owners using the AVS system within the United States. The 8-week requirement was to allow the "true owner" of an international credit card to receive his statement and stop any payments that were not his. Unlike what the credit card companies tell you in their advertisements, it is a fact that it is NOT the credit card companies that take all the risk of card theft, it is the merchants that always get hurt. This is because as merchants, it is our requirement under contract, to verify that we have checked the card-holders identity, or risk non-payment. The only way to do this is on out-of-country orders is to prove that the FEDEX signature/address sent to is the one on record at the bank for that cardholder.
Account verification can be done by faxing a copy (or emailing a scanned-in image) of your monthly credit card statement that shows the address that we will be shipping product to and the card number you will be using. These MUST match the address and card number on your order. If you decide to fax this, our number is 561-487-2872. The easiest way is to simply scan it, save it as statement.jpg and attach it to your next email. Thank you for your cooperation.
